Search & @rem
Find artifacts in your library and inject context into any AI chat.
Library search
Your Library includes a full-text search bar that searches across artifact titles, summaries, and key points. You can also filter by collection, tags, and provider to narrow down results.
The @rem command
The @rem command lets you search your Remoria artifacts directly from within any supported AI chat input. Simply type @rem your query in the chat input box and the extension will search your library and display matching results.
How injection works
When you select an artifact from the @rem search results, Remoria injects a structured context block directly into your current chat prompt. If the artifact has an AI Context (captured automatically since this feature was introduced), that is used — it contains the problem statement, key exchanges, and current state, giving the new AI a precise starting point. For older artifacts without AI Context, the human-readable summary is injected instead.
Viewing and editing AI Context
Every artifact in your Library has a collapsible “AI Context” section in its detail drawer. Click any artifact, then expand “AI Context” to see the structured block that gets injected. You can:
- Copy the context to your clipboard for manual pasting into any app.
- Edit the context (click Edit in the drawer) to refine what gets injected.
Use cases
- Cross-provider continuity: Brainstorm in Gemini, then inject those insights into Claude to continue working on the same topic — the AI picks up exactly where you left off.
- Quick reference: Pull up a previously captured research artifact while writing a new prompt, without leaving the chat page.
- Building on past work: Reference earlier project decisions or technical notes directly in a new conversation.
- Manual copy-paste: Open any artifact in your Library, expand AI Context, and copy it into tools that Remoria doesn't integrate with directly (Slack, docs, email).
