Extension Setup

1. Install the extension

Visit the Remoria Capture listing on the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome.” The extension works with any Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc).

2. Generate an API token

In your Remoria dashboard, go to Settings. Under the Extension Token section, click “Generate Token.” Copy the token — you will need it in the next step.

3. Configure the extension

Right-click the Remoria extension icon in your browser toolbar and select “Options” (or click the extension icon and choose the settings gear). Paste your API token into the token field and save.

4. Verify the connection

Open any supported AI chat (e.g., ChatGPT or Claude). You should see the Remoria “Summarize” and “Capture” buttons appear near the chat interface. If the buttons appear, your extension is connected and ready to use.

Troubleshooting

• Button not appearing: Make sure you are on a supported provider page and that the extension is enabled. Try refreshing the page.
• Capture fails: Verify that your API token is correctly pasted in the extension options. You can regenerate a new token in Settings if needed.
• Wrong account: Each API token is tied to a specific Remoria account. If you have multiple accounts, make sure you are using the token from the correct one.
