Extension Setup

1. Install the extension

Visit the Remoria Capture listing on the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome.” The extension works with any Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc).

2. Connect the extension

Right after install, a tab opens automatically on the connect page. Sign in (or create an account) and the extension is linked automatically — no token copying required.

If the tab didn’t open (for example, you closed it or installed from a different browser profile), click the Remoria icon in your browser toolbar and press “Connect to Remoria” to open the connect page manually.

Tip: Chrome hides new extension icons behind the puzzle-piece menu. Click the puzzle icon, find Remoria, and pin it so it’s always visible.

3. Start capturing

Open any supported AI chat (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Manus). You should see the Remoria “Summarize” and “Capture” buttons appear near the chat interface. If the buttons appear, your extension is connected and ready to use.

Troubleshooting

• Button not appearing: Make sure you are on a supported provider page and that the extension is enabled. Try refreshing the page.
• Connect tab didn’t open after install: Click the Remoria icon in your toolbar (or the puzzle-piece menu if you haven’t pinned it) and press “Connect to Remoria.”
• Extension not detected on connect page: Click “Try Again” after ensuring the extension is installed and enabled. If it still doesn't connect, you can copy the token manually from the connect page and paste it in the extension options.
• Wrong account: Each connection is tied to a specific Remoria account. To switch accounts, click “Connect to Remoria” again from the extension popup and sign in with the correct account.
